The Brine Well Eatery – Review
*Dusts off the cobwebs*
So it’s been a while. You can’t say I didn’t warn you, but I’m back now, in a limited capacity. That said, I’m catching up on the reviews that I owe you, my viewing audience.
With all that said, a few months ago I had the chance to check out the “Rochester stack” from The Brine Well Eatery. This plate will run you $14 and it’s worth checking out if you find yourself in Syracuse. Let’s discuss:
HEALTH INSPECTION NOTES:
There was one non-critical violation from an inspection conducted on March 11, 2021. I would feel comfortable eating here again.
Meat (Cheeseburgers): 4
They cooked the cheeseburgers thoroughly, and the cheese that they use was quite good. I did feel that the burgers themselves weren’t anything special, and were a bit bland.
Meat Sauce: 5
Quite good, had a bit of a kick to it as well, which you know I enjoyed. They seasoned the sauce well, and that took the plate to the next level for me, a great meat hot.
Potato Side (Home fries): 5
The home fries were awesome. They were homemade and tasted incredible.
Mac Salad: 4
The mac salad was a bit lackluster. Not bad per say, but nothing special.
Bread: N/A
Portion Control/Composition: 5
This was a plate with a lot of great synergy to it. The meat sauce, the home fries all came together to make an outstanding plate. They give you quite a bit of food too, although the price is a bit higher than average.
Overall Score: 4.6
An excellent plate, and worth the trip to Syracuse to taste.
